Life after MODIS

After MODIS, Now What?

The era of NASA Earth Observing System (EOS) is winding down. NASA HQ has been discussing the ending of Terra, Aura, and Aqua. The current plans call for the likely end of data collection as early as the summer of 2023. Terra and Aqua are now drifting from their nominal equatorial crossing times, with Terra moving to earlier and Aqua having later overpass times.

SpecNet would like to understand the impacts of these missions on our science to develop a response to NASA.

Will the loss of MODIS affect your project? This would include not just research, but also products used for ongoing applications.
